They addditionaly reduce tiny light reflections on leaves and grass, ensuring deep, "lush" greenness. It is also possible to eliminate unwanted light reflections from non-metallic surfaces and photograph objects behind the glass or under the water. The filter's strength is adjusted through a ring which can be rotated to change the polarisation angle.
